Name: Work Experience PEI

Requirements: This position is being offered by SkillsPEI under Work Experience PEI. To be eligible for this position you must be unemployed and meet one of the following criteria; Be an individual who has established a claim for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits; OR Be an individual whose EI benefit period ended within the last three (3) years; OR Be an individual who established and was paid a claim for EI maternity or parental benefits within the past five (5) years and is re-entering the labour force after having left it to care for newborn or newly adopted children.

Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $435.00 per for a 40 hour week.

Experience: Central Development Corporation will provide training..

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Continuous learning

Other Information: Candidates must meet EI eligibility criteria. Work is with the 2010 Small Communities Projects. Job duration is 16 weeks. Subject to funding approval.
