Terms: This is a seasonal, part time job, which requires working evenings and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $11.00 to $12.00 per hour for a 16 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Driver’s License.

Work Setting: Arena, Recreational Facility, Sports facility

Ice Maker Specific Skills: Operate machines to clean, smooth and prepare ice surfaces

Recreational Facility Attendant Specific Skills: Collect fees from players, Sell or rent sports equipment

Security and Safety: Bondable

Essential Skills: Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Continuous learning

Other Information: Assist in installation & maintenance of ice & building equipment, completing general repairs, cleaning, & assisting in running events. Heavy lifting required. Arena operator Course would be an asset
