Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Type of Paints or Coatings: Drying oils paint, Resinous, solvent drying paints, Fire retardant coatings, Inhibiting coatings

Type of Materials or Products: Aircraft or motor vehicles

Surface Preparation Methods: Abrasive disc wheel, Chemical techniques, Masking

Application Methods: Hand-held spray guns

Work Setting / Industry Experience: Aviation and Aerospace industry

Specific Skills: Select appropriate paint or mix paints, Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat, Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications, HVLP (High-volume, Low-Pressure) Knowledge, Maintain records and inventory

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Continuous learning

Other Information: Wage will commence at $13.50/hr. Job deals with a lot of gel coating.
